YANMAR opens new sales and customer representative office in Finland

As of 1 February 2018, YANMAR MARINE INTERNATIONAL has assumed full responsibility for the distribution of its products and services in Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Following positive discussions between both organisations, Oy Brandt Ab will no longer represent YANMAR in these countries, and with preparations for this change having been finalised, the new representative office is called YANMAR MARINE FINLAND.

Owing to rapid market growth in the region, as well as the increasing requirement for dedicated local support, the establishment of YANMAR MARINE FINLAND represents a natural progression. It complements YANMAR’s existing offices in Norway and Sweden, and demonstrates its ongoing commitment to supplying innovative marine products and services in the Nordic region.

In being closer to its customers in this way, YANMAR is aiming to strengthen its reputation as a partner of choice, by further reducing the lines of communication to long-established and proven boat builders and dealers. In turn, this will allow it to respond rapidly to evolving local requirements, shorten lead times and increase the overall level of customer satisfaction.

'We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Oy Brandt Ab for its efforts in building the YANMAR brand in Finland,”'says Floris Lettinga, YANMAR MARINE INTERNATIONAL’s Senior Global Sales Manager. 'It did an incredible job in raising awareness of our products and in ensuring that our customers were effectively supported.'

'YANMAR MARINE FINLAND now allows us to distribute our products directly, through a dedicated sales representative located in Espoo, Helsinki. This will mean that our customers can look forward to receiving the world-class service that we are known for long into the future.'
